SPICATUS ring

  • SpicatusLatin translation: ' Spiked'. The original Spicatus ring was identified in an ancient painting found by explorers - the painting was very old and damaged but the ring can be seen on the strange elongated fingers of a distinctly non-human figure. It is thought to have had great importance to the wearer in the painting, who art historians believe to have been some kind of royalty.*

Created in oxidised sterling silver, this is a very elegant and unusually shaped ring. All ARCANIQUE pieces are hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

    * May or may not be factually correct... But ARCANIQUE enjoys the tale.

  • Materials: 925 sterling silver

Please note that the oxidisation process can produce slightly different hues and intensities and due to the hand finishing, each piece has its own quirks. We don't want perfect, pristine pieces - we want pieces with character.

Size: Approx 2.5cm height, 5cm width, 2.5cm depth. Sizing varies slightly due to the organic shape and pieces are sized fairly proportionally - please enquire if you're unsure which size would be best for you!

  • Delivery time: If the piece is not in stock, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery as the majority of our pieces are made to order. Occasionally, we do stock pieces, in which case you can expect delivery between 1-3 days within the UK.
